Meet Craig Franson

Craig Franson, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English at La Salle University in Philadelphia. He specializes in the politics of literature and popular culture, and he has been studying the far-right since 2002. Currently, he is writing a book on the right-wing readership of J. R. R. Tolkien. Craig has served as Director of University Writing, and he has had two decades of experience in program administration, curricular design, assessment, and faculty training and development. He consults on writing administration, humanities curricula, critical pedagogies, far-right threats, antiracism initiatives, and educating for democracy.
